Finding The Path To Recovery
I completed a graduate program in Marriage and Family therapy from Chapman University and worked diligently to become a licensed MFT. I am a professional and multi-faceted clinician with over 20 years of experience in the field. As a 1st generation Mexican American, I have developed a unique multicultural view and cultural competence that allows my work in ethnically diverse communities to be authentic and an effective therapeutic experience. I am fluent in Spanish and offer treatment for monolingual individuals and families. Most of my clinical work has been gained in community and school-based programs and in private practice. The responsibilities and learning opportunities provided in my professional and academic careers have shaped me into a strong, competent, and caring individual with strong work ethics and a high level of determination. I have maintained a commitment to continued education, certification, and specialized trainings in a broad range of modalities and evidence-based therapies. I am confident that my therapeutic skills can help clients change the trajectory of their lives and empower them to find their path to healing.
